Terms of Use
Effective October 23, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Sendero mobile app and related services ("Sendero"), provided by Sendero Ranch Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using Sendero, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Sendero.
1. Who can use Sendero
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. One person per account; you're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
2. What Sendero does
Sendero helps ranch managers run their properties and helps hunters and guests plan trips, log harvests, and stay in touch. Features include ranch profiles, events and invitations, harvest logs, photo galleries, messaging, a social feed, waivers, feeder and camera tools, and the Gear Exchange.
Ranches on Sendero are independently owned and operated. We don't own, manage, or inspect any ranch, and we aren't a party to any arrangement between a ranch and its guests, including hunts, lodging, pricing, payments, or waivers.
3. Your content
You own the content you post, including photos, harvest logs, messages, listings, and posts ("your content"). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate and improve Sendero, and to show it to the people you share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that others have already shared within the app.
You're responsible for your content. You confirm you have the rights to post it and that it follows these Terms and our Community Guidelines.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Sendero has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post or send content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, violent toward people, illegal, fraudulent, or spam, or that violates our Community Guidelines. Lawful hunting content, including harvest photos, is welcome.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours.
5. Reporting and blocking
You can report content or users from within the app, and block other users. Blocking hides each person's posts and listings from the other, hides direct messages between you, and ends any friendship. In ranch group threads, a blocked person's messages are collapsed for you. Blocking doesn't remove anyone from a ranch you share. You can also report concerns to support@getsendero.com.
6. Hunting, safety, and the law
You're solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your activities, including hunting seasons, bag limits, licenses, tags, harvest reporting, firearm and archery laws, trespass, and wildlife regulations. Information in Sendero, including schedules, blind assignments, maps, gate codes, and directions, is provided by users and ranches and may be inaccurate or out of date.
Hunting and outdoor activities carry inherent risks of injury and death. Sendero doesn't supervise any activity, and you participate at your own risk.
7. Waivers
Ranches may ask guests to sign waivers through Sendero. A waiver is an agreement between you and the ranch; we only provide the tool to sign and store it. Questions about a waiver's terms go to the ranch.
8. Gear Exchange
The Gear Exchange lets users list and find used hunting gear. We aren't a party to any sale, don't handle payments, and don't guarantee any item, listing, buyer, or seller. Firearms, ammunition, and items illegal to sell are prohibited. Arrange transactions carefully and follow all laws.
9. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Sendero. This includes trying to access accounts or data that aren't yours, interfering with the service, scraping, reverse engineering, sending automated messages, impersonating others, or using Sendero for any unlawful purpose.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or Sendero. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to Sendero and these Terms
We may change or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; if changes are material, we'll notify you in the app and may ask you to accept them again. Continuing to use Sendero after an update means you accept it.
12. Disclaimers
Sendero is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that Sendero will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content is accurate.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Sendero, any ranch, any hunt or activity, any Gear Exchange transaction, or any user's conduct. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of Sendero, your activities on any ranch, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded Sendero from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Sendero or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and, to the extent permitted by law, has no warranty obligation for Sendero. Apple isn't responsible for any claims relating to Sendero, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and aren't on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
