Community Guidelines
Effective October 23, 2026
Sendero is a place for ranchers, hunters, and their guests to plan, share, and stay connected. These guidelines apply to everything you post or send: feed posts, photos, harvest logs, messages, ranch threads, Gear Exchange listings, and profiles. Breaking them can mean removed content or a suspended account.
Welcome here
- Harvest photos and stories from lawful hunts
- Ranch updates, trip planning, and camp life
- Honest gear listings with accurate descriptions and photos
- Respectful disagreement and good-natured ribbing among friends
Hunting content is part of what Sendero is for. A lawful harvest photo isn't a violation, even if it shows an animal after the hunt.
Not allowed
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Harassment and bullying | Threats, repeated unwanted contact, insults aimed at a person, sharing someone's private information |
| Hate | Attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age |
| Sexual content | Nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexual content involving anyone under 18, which we report to authorities |
| Violence toward people | Threats, glorifying violence against people, or encouraging self-harm |
| Illegal activity | Poaching, hunting out of season or without a license, trespassing, selling items illegal to sell, or helping others do so |
| Animal cruelty | Content celebrating needless suffering or unlawful treatment of animals |
| Scams and fraud | Fake listings, payment scams, phishing, or impersonating another person or ranch |
| Spam | Repetitive, unsolicited, or automated posts and messages |
| Prohibited items | Items that can't be sold legally, or that aren't allowed under our Terms |
Report and block
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it from the ⋯ menu on the post, harvest, listing, or photo, or the ⋯ on a friend or a direct chat, or long-press a message. Reports are confidential; the person you report isn't told who reported them.
You can block anyone. When you block someone, you won't see each other's posts or listings, direct messages between you are hidden, and any friendship between you ends. In ranch group threads, their messages are collapsed for you. Blocking doesn't remove someone from a ranch; ranch managers handle ranch membership.
You can also email support@getsendero.com.
What happens after a report
We review reports within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove the content, warn the user, suspend the account, or permanently ban it. Serious violations, like threats or content involving minors, may be reported to law enforcement.
Ranch managers
Ranch managers curate their own ranch: members, events, galleries, and profiles. Managers can remove members from their ranch and turn off ranch messaging. These guidelines still apply to everything managers post.
